I get asked a lot about what I use under my eyes to set my concealer, So I thought its about time I write about a whole post on whats my current favourite under eye setting powder. Especially when I'm on holiday which ones I use in the hot weather. I have tried so many over the past years but for this post in particular I have come up my current favourite.
Laura Mercier Loose setting Powder £29.00
As you all may know already, this powder is a favourite and a must have especially within the beauty community. This powder feels so soft and silky on the skin. I tend to use this powder for baking under my eyes with a beauty blender or most likely Zoeva powder brush which is my favourite brush at the moment. I absolutely love this product and understand why many others love it too. After setting my powder on my eyes for about 2 minutes, I brush off the excess powder away from my under eye . The best part of this powder is that it sets my concealer in place and does not crease at all. It instantly makes you have a flawless look. The powder itself is white but it doesn't make you look pale or make the skin white . It's lightweight but you can definitely see a soft transformation on your face once you apply it. This one sets foundation really well without looking too powdery or cakey. It's also good for my sensitive skin, doesn't irritate my face or emphasize pores. When Im aboard in a hot country I tend to not put any powder on my face because majority of my time abroad I'm either going out bare face or lippy on the go.
Happy Tuesday guys, I’m going through all my pictures from Dubai and still reminiscing, I loved the fact that I was wearing more colour and having fun with it. I love to remember moment’s like this, bright and fun by the hotel pool, ahh good times, I can’t wait for the upcoming months, I have so much planned. As you may know from my Instagram posts that I traveled a few times to Dubai. I just can’t get over how stunning it is. Dubai is one of those places that are spectacularly beautiful, preserving its culture, style and language. I will be going back soon
On 7th of June 2016 I travelled to Istanbul, Turkey and stayed for 8 days why Turkey? That's a question I always got from people , I guess because Turkey has the most varied and diverse sights you could see in a single country. You have the Ottoman Mosques and palaces, the Byzantine monuments like Ayasofya. Moving east you get to see amazing old Islamic towns and cities and historic buildings.
Grand Bazaar of Istanbul.
The Sulemaniye Mosque.
Although, I have been to many other places like the cave restaurant, Cappadocias famous for its carpets, Istiklal street and the Galata Tower which can all be viewed on my Instagram. I would heartily recommend everyone to go to Turkey at least once in their lives, especially Istanbul. Hope you enjoyed reading my trip to Istanbul .
