Nada Sghaier: 19 years old Tunisian girl, Creator of Aphro accessories.
Since I was younger I have been doing my own accessories. My mom was my inspiration, she guided me due to her job teaching people about DIY. Actually I was assisting to her programs to help her when she needed. One day, one of my friends who was inlove with my creations, wanted me to do her accessories but she wanted to pay for them, at the beginning I didn’t like the idea because I didn’t want to commercialize(market) my passion. Step by step, I dreamed to found my own brand. And here you go I am now the owner of Aphro Accessories. Now talking about the difficulties I’ve faced: It was a bit risky, but in a good way, due to the clients contact I met cool people that helped boost my confidence. Another difficulty was that the materials weren’t always available here in Tunisia. There is always the “out of stock” problem. The quantity is always so limited that I found myself stuck between supply and demand. And that was the biggest difficulty I had to face in my domain. My advice to girls who want to start their own business don’t be afraid, don’t fear problems you’ll face, these exist in every domain, there are ups and downs in everything so you have to be strong and don’t let those obstacles ruin your beautiful dream. “expect problems and eat them for breakfast”.
